Privacy Policy

Effective July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Renderly AI collects, uses, and protects information when you use our AI video creation service.

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Renderly AI (Renderly) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our AI video creation service.

Information we collect

We collect information needed to operate accounts, process generations, deliver billing, provide support, and secure the platform. The categories below describe the main types of data we handle.

Account information

This includes your email address, authentication identifiers, account settings, and support communications tied to your account.

Payment information

Purchases may be processed by Stripe or Apple. Renderly does not receive or store full payment card numbers when those providers process payment. We may receive billing metadata such as purchase status, product identifiers, subscription state, and transaction references needed to grant credits and maintain billing records.

Uploaded images, videos, and prompts

When you create content, we collect the files, prompts, template selections, and related metadata you submit for generation.

Generated content

We store information about generated videos, images, thumbnails, generation status, job history, and associated metadata so you can access your Library and we can provide playback, download, and support.

Usage and analytics data

We may collect product usage events, feature interactions, and performance metrics to understand reliability, billing flows, and product improvement. Analytics tooling may be enabled depending on deployment configuration.

Device and log data

We collect technical logs such as IP address, browser or app information, request timestamps, error reports, and security events needed to operate and protect the service.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and keep the dashboard secure. You can control some browser storage settings, but disabling them may limit functionality.

How we use information

  • Provide and maintain the service
  • Process generations and deliver outputs
  • Manage credits, subscriptions, and purchases
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests
  • Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve the product
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations

AI provider processing

Uploaded assets and prompts may be transmitted to third-party AI generation providers to create outputs. Those providers process data according to their own terms and policies.Renderly sends only what is needed to perform the requested generation.

Infrastructure and subprocessors

We use service providers such as Supabase (authentication and database), AWS S3 (media storage), Stripe and Apple (payments), AI generation providers, and optional error monitoring or infrastructure vendors configured for the deployment. These providers process data on our behalf to operate the service.

Data storage and asset retention

Account, billing, and generation records are stored in cloud infrastructure with access controls. Generated media and uploads may be retained while your account is active so you can access your Library. We do not promise permanent retention of every asset, and storage limits or cleanup policies may apply over time.

Signed asset URLs

Playback and download links may use time-limited signed URLs so only authorized users can access private media. Signed links expire after a configured period.

Security practices

We use industry-standard measures such as access controls, authenticated APIs, and secure cloud storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for protecting your account credentials.

Data deletion requests

You may request deletion of personal data or your account by contacting support@renderly.ai. We will review requests and delete or anonymize information where we are not required to retain it.

Account deletion

Account deletion requests are handled manually through support at this time. After verification, we will delete or deactivate the account and associated personal content subject to legal and operational retention requirements.

Legal retention of billing records

Billing, invoice, and transaction records may be retained for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution even after account deletion, for as long as required by law or legitimate business needs.

International processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. We take steps designed to protect data when it is transferred internationally.

Children

Renderly is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information. Contact us to exercise those rights. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights that apply to you.

Backups and residual copies

Deleted content may persist for a limited time in backups, logs, provider systems, or disaster-recovery copies before being overwritten or purged according to routine retention schedules.

Policy changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, providing notice in the product or by email.
